I clicked Him, hoping to see details, but accidentally voted for it instead! I want to see all the things, but 28 years later interests me the most, with Bambi a close second. Let's get an NC HWA group to see them ALL!!!

Um...why not invite NC HWA? I'm looking for people to watch horror movies with. None in my family or my small group of NC friends are horror watchers.

I made a spur of the moment decision with 15 minutes to get to the venue. Honestly this was a journey I needed to go on and achieve as a victory for myself.

I just saw Sinners on my own! I was afraid I'd miss it on the big screen if I tried to wait for plans to work out. I DO feel like it was immersive to see solo. 😉

I also have avoided going to the movies by myself, which is kind of funny because I enjoy watching movies by myself at home. But if I want to see something and can't find a companion, I do still go by myself now. It helps that I now have a movie theater I think of as "mine" where I know a lot of the staff and have a usual seat (Carolina Theatre, Durham).

I love that! That is what I’m hoping to do. The more I go to the same theatre more it feels like “mine” and I can build a little mini community there. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and your support.

I'm so glad you didn't let the lack of company stop you from enjoying a favorite franchise. I hadn't heard of it before this, but my vote is for Bambi! I love horror retellings. I saw Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter with a friend and then went back to the theater and watched it several more times alone. Watching that vampire throw a whole ass horse at someone makes me laugh every single time.

Ha! Your vote for Bambi is amazing! I think I may go back and see “Sinners” on my own. It’s one of those films were I really want to immerse myself and take in all the themes and doing that solo feels like the right fit. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and support.
